"Ivy Taylor spent...most of her life in Montana, being born in Twin Bridges January 25, 1886–daughter of Dr. Asa Lee Davison. As a child in arms she crossed the plains in a covered wagon. Her maternal grandmother was the first teacher in Montana's first school house at Laurin, now a ghost town, near Twin Bridges."
